Francisco Hernandez Sr.

Francisco Hernandez Sr., age 87, living in Azusa CA, passed away peacefully in his home on October 28th, 2017.  Francisco was a long time resident of Azusa for 53 years.  He was born in El Paso Texas.  Served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was a well-known UA local #398 plumber for over 50 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Maria del Refugio, his 6 loving children, Katherine Hernandez, Josephine Diaz (Tony), Dora Guardado (John), Emily Hernandez, Francisco Jr. Hernandez (Consuelo) and Natalie Silva (Jose).  His loving memory will be cherished by his 12 grandchildren, Jessica, Rebecca, Anthony Jr, Adam, Daniel, Alexandra, Victoria, Phillip, Stephen, Theresa, Pablo and Samantha; and his 13 great-grandchildren Raymond III, Audrey, Alexa, Christopher, Nathaniel, Javier Jr, Jakob, Alessandro, Olivia, Frankee, David Jr, Jaxson and Zachary.  He is also survived by his sisters Manuela Medrano, Candelaria Perez, Juanita Rodriguez and Maria de Jesus Sanchez. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Severiano and Josefina Hernandez, his brothers Joe Hernandez and Jose Hernandez (Nano), his sister Magdalena Rivera (Nena), his daughter Barbara Hernandez and his granddaughter Sandra Martinez.

The rosary will be held on Tuesday, November 7th at 7pm at St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church in Azusa CA.  A Catholic mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 8th at 9:30am also at St. Frances of Rome Church.  Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Rosemead CA.
