Normand Raymond Tessier, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on Saturday January 13, 2018, at the age of 87. He is survived by Gwena, his wife of 36 years; by his children, Michael Tessier, Dennis Tessier, Renee De Koning, Gaye Dalton, Lisa Kasson, Greg Breedlove, Jana Johnson; by his 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. 

Normand grew up and attended school in Los Angeles, CA. He served in the US Army-CIC unit during the Korean War. While raising his family, Normand worked at City Ford LA and then Link Richmond and Sons Trucking Company, where he worked for 34 years until his retirement in 1996. 

Normand was passionate about many things. He loved animals, and enjoyed reading historical war novels. He built and flew RC model airplanes; received awards for plane designs, and was once featured in an issue of a model airplane magazine. 

Normand will be remembered for his integrity, strength of conviction, and dedication to family. He was admired by many and will be greatly missed, by all whose lives he touched. 

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am on Wednesday January 24, 2018, at St. Francis of Rome Church in Azusa.
