Amelia Golden

Ameila (Amy) Golden was called home on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the age of 62.  

Amy was born to Maria and Jose Perez in 1959. She grew up in East Los Angeles, California with her four siblings: Martha, Marcelino, Fernando, and Joe.

She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and took some college courses throughout her life. Finding passion in art classes. Amy worked as an executive secretary in the aerospace industry for over 40 years.

While working at St. Vincent’s Medical Center she met the love of her life Thomas Golden, Sr. Tom and Amy married in 1979 and shared 40 years of love, laughter, good times and tough times; forever making their marriage strong. Amy was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband, and sister. Amy is survived by her children Thomas Jr., Christopher, Jennifer and Matthew, grandchildren Austin, Gabriel, Logan, Noah, Emma and her brothers.

Amy loved spending time with her family, cooking, rescuing animals, camping, and being creative. She will forever be remembered for her amazing food, infectious smile, contagious laughter, and compassionate spirit.
