Harold John Miller

We are saddened by the passing of Harold J. Miller, December 15, 1934 – February 21, 2019. A beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Rita L. Miller, daughter Laura L. Percy, and his four grandchildren. Born inside his residence in Chicago, Illinois along with his twin brother Art. They became younger siblings to his older sister Betty. Harold entered service for his country in the UnitedStates Army, on February 28, 1952. Decorated for his service as a Combat Medic, assigned to the Combat Medic 160th Infantry Regiment, his service covered three campaigns of the Korean War. After his return from service on February 25, 1955, he later married his wife Rita in 1966. The couple married and had twins (Eric and Laura) in 1967, and moved from Chicago, Illinois to Azusa, California that same year. Harold’s career spanned for 30 years as a Chemical Processor for Norac Chemical Company in Azusa, CA. Rita’s fond memories of her beloved husband was his love for fishing, camping and their weekly dinner dates. Laura’s loving memories of her father was a great sense of humor and being woken up at the crack of dawn to be taken fishing as a kid. 

Harold’s memorial service will be held at, 
Hope Lutheran Church, 1041 E. Foothill Blvd, Glendora, CA 91741, 
February 28, 2019, 11:00 am. 

Inurnment will take place with military funeral honors at, 
Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92518, 
March 7, 2019, 11:30 am.
