Jose L. Gomez

Jose Luis Gomez (Joe), 50, passed away on March 17, 2018 in San Dimas, CA.

Joe is lovingly remembered by his son Nathaniel Gomez; parents, Antonio and Guadalupe Gomez; sister, Maricela Gomez; brother and sister-in-law, Alfredo and Leticia Gomez, nephews and niece, Christopher, Michael, Samantha, and Matthew.

Joe was born in 1968 in the city of Duarte, CA and graduated from Damien High School in 1987. He had a passion for Mustangs and computers, and later worked as an Engineer for Data Strategy.

In his youth, Joe served as an Eagle Scout and later served as Nathaniel’s Pack leader in Kentucky, passing on his knowledge and love for the outdoors to his son. He enjoyed going to NASCAR races with his brother and buddies, grilling out with his family on Sunday’s, listening to New Order and drinking beers with his brother Fred and best-friend Chris. Most of all, Joe was an animal lover which included Black Angus cattle and Rhode Island Red chickens, but his passion was Golden Retrievers.

The Visitation will be held on March 26, 2018 at 6:00 pm at White’s Funeral Home, 404 E. Foothill Blvd. Azusa, CA 91702.

The Funeral Service will be held on March 27, 2018 at 9:00 am at St. Frances of Rome Church, 501 E. Foothill Blvd., Azusa, CA 91702.

Interment to follow at 10:15 am at Oakdale Memorial Park, 1401 S. Grand Ave., Glendora, CA 9174
