Theodore Luevano a maintenance supervisor for the Glendora Unified School District for over twenty-five years and life-long resident of Azusa, California, died July 12, 2023 at the age of 95 years old at home…
Theodore is survived by: his 4 children Lydia Beltran, Jerry Luevano, Vera Mercado, Paul Luevano, he was also blessed with 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Theodore was born in Azusa on February 17, 1928 to Cresencio Luevano and Otilia De La Rosa Luevano. He lived at the Foothill Ranch in Azusa during his childhood with his parents, 2 brothers Jesus and Anthony along with 5 sisters, Ruth, Genevieve, Mary Frances, Dolores & Guadalupe. Their family then moved to their home on Alameda Ave, Azusa until my father married my mother Carolyn Haro, where they bought their home on North San Gabriel Ave, Azusa and lived for 60+ years.
Theodore enlisted into the Army National Guard and served his country during the Korean War in 1950.
A vigil service will be held Sunday July 30, 2023 at 4:00pm at White’s Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be followed on Monday July 31, 2023 at St. Frances of Rome at 10:00 am, from there a funeral procession will be made to Oakdale Memorial Park at 1:00pm.
